Delightful true black (showing a little lighter in photos) chiffon dress from the 1950s. No label but shop bought. Chiffon feels like silk but could be a synthetic. A perfect example of a genuine 1950s little black dress.
The fitted bodice is constructed with cross-over ruched sections at front. It is finished off with white floral motif over bust-line.
The full skirt is softly gathered at waist. Lined with a black acetate satin underskirt. Closes at the back with a long metal zip.
Please note 1950s prom dress is shown with a crinoline not included in price
Condition Excellent. Only a couple of neat mends in lining near hem which can’t be seen from outside.
Size SMALL (approx AU8)
Please check measurements as the waist measurements were very small and the girls shorter in the 1950s. Measurements are measured flat on dress so please remember to allow room to move. It is always a good idea to check measurements against a dress that you know fits
