Fabulous vintage 1970s calf-length, aubergine-coloured (dark purple tone) leather coat by the iconic Australian brand House of Merivale.
Merivale fashion was designed and made in Australia. Fabulous quality and finishing. The leather is an unusual aubergine colour and still quite supple.
Great cut and styling with lots of seaming for the perfect fit.
Closes at the front with 3 large plastic buttons, The belt is only at the front as is sewn in the side seams. There are 2 smaller plastic buttons on each cuff.
There is a long opening at the back at hem for ease of movement.
Full lined in an acetate satin.
As the coat was too small for my model I couldn’t show it with all buttons closed.
