Description
Classic vintage 1950s black wiggle dress by R&K Originals.
Elegant shape and cut in black, soft, lightweight, wool crepe-like fabric. Not sure of composition.
The fitted bodice has 4 panels at the front, V- shaped neckline and neat collar. Three-quarter length sleeves complete the silhouette.
Has a straight fitted skirt with angled hidden pockets on each side of hip. There is a kick-pleat at bottom of skirt at back for ease of movement. Closes at back with a long metal zip.
The dress is not lined.
Condition Good vintage. Have had dress professionally cleaned but there are a couple of areas on the front of dress where it looks like some colour run. One near left pocket and a small spot on front. I’ve tried to show them in photos that have been lightened a bit.
