Description
Divine vintage 1950s Pat Hartly silk floral dress and half petticoat.
‘New Look’ styling with a fitted bodice to just below the drop-waist. Has a lovely full gathered skirt.
Beautifully constructed with darts and gores to create the fitted bodice. Has short dolman-style sleeves finished with wide grosgrain ribbon around hem which is finished with a bow. The sweet Peter pan collar has a rolled bias trim. Finished with a grosgrain ribbon at neckline. Closes with 8 buttons at front and press-stud at neckline. There is also a long metal zip at side.
The full skirt is gathered into V-shaped drop waistline which is also finished in rolled bias edging.
Dress comes with original peach-coloured, semi-circular, acetate-satin petticoat with tulle trim at hem.
