1950s dress with full skirt
Elegant vintage 1950s wiggle dress in a lovely shade of blue which has a soft sheen.
No makers label but the original tag with size is still attached. Definitely shop-bought.
‘New Look’ styling with fitted bodice to under the bust. The lower part of dress is comprised of 14 gored panels that are cut so it is fitted down to the waist then flares out to a magnificent full skirt.
The scooped neckline and hem of short sleeves are finished with rolled bias trim. Has the original narrow belt. It is not lined.
The dress closes at the back with a long metal zip.
Vintage clothing sells only genuine, original vintage fashions.
Please note I have added a crinoline petticoat to show how dress was originally worn which is not included in price.
