Condition Excellent vintage.
There is some subtle fading in colour of the Guipure lace trim on the cardigan. Not at all obvious.

Please note The dress is photographed with a crinoline petticoat which is not included in the price.

PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS as the WAIST and HIP measurements were VERY SMALL and the girls were shorter in the past.

Measurements are measured flat on the dress so please remember to allow room to move. It is always a good idea to check measurements against a dress that you know fits you.

Description

1950s Dauphine 2-pce ice-blue sun dress and matching cardigan Ultra-feminine dress in slightly sheer, ice-blue fabric (not sure of composition). The bodice is completely pin-tucked back and front.

The bands around armholes are trimmed in pale-blue floral Guipure lace trim.

The full skirt is pleated into waist. The dress is not lined. Has original belt. Closes centre back with a long metal zip.

The matching short-sleeved cardigan is made from DuPont Orlon knit fabric. Has a sweet Peter-Pan collar in the same fabric as the dress and is trimmed in Guipure lace. Closes at the front with 8 small buttons.
