Description
Rare vintage Hungarian embroidered dress from circa 1930. Could possibly be from a later date but from my research the style points to the late 30s possibly early 40s.
It is made from a slightly sheer rayon in a lovely dark purple colour with gorgeous cream-coloured embroidery. The skirt is also lined in a purple rayon fabric.
The bodice has a small collar with V-neck opening and little puff sleeves. The shoulders and waist are smocked in the same colour as embroidery.
Please note the waist on someone taller is higher than average. Please check the measurements below.
The waist is wide and smocked at the front only to easily slip over your head. There are 2 ties attached to side seams to tie at the back to suit your waist size
