Unique vintage 1930s hand-crocheted, dark cream coloured silk dress.
Many hours have gone into this delightful, pure silk, vintage crocheted dress from the 1930s.
Peasant style neckline is made with a band of crocheted circles. The small short sleeves are finished with a scalloped hem,
The skirt has been crocheted in two pieces with a band of the same crocheted circles that surround the neckline joining them. This creates a slight flounce around bottom half. Hem is finished with scalloping. There is thin, crocheted chain tie-belt with two of the circles on each end which threads through dress at waist.
Vintage clothing sells only genuine, original vintage fashions.
Condition Excellent. The silk has most-likely darkened over the years.
